Stained Glass and Kiln Formed Glass
This course is ideal for beginners and intermediates.
Run at The Clay and Glass Studios, Ogbourne St. George on Mon/Tues/Wed evenings 7-9pm and Wed/Thurs mornings 9:30-11:30.
Students learn two methods for stained glass construction during this course. The Tiffany style of copper foiling is for interior decorative items. Leading, is the traditional method of assembling glass for external purposes. The glass is cut to shape and fitted into pre-formed lead channels.

Marlborough College Summer School
As part of the Marlborough College Summer School Jeannette will once again present a comprehensive course where you will create a number of glass items and jewellery to take home. For full details of the Summer School visit the Marlborough College website.
Jeannette presents 10-week courses in glass creation for beginners and intermediate students. Classes are 2 hours long and run in a friendly and relaxed environment with small groups.
Kiln Formed Glass Workshop - enrol now for 28th January 2012
This workshop will provide an introduction to the principle techniques used in kiln formed glass.
It will include glass cutting and glass fusing, to create flat items such as a panel, hanging, frames, tiles or a plate, which can then be slumped into a plate mould. You will be working with clear glass and coloured 'Bullseye' glass and making some jewellery with 'Dichroic' glass.
